Terms of Use
Last Updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Stether ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Petter Bjørseth in Norway, about your use of the Stether mobile app (the "App"). By creating a profile or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. Who Can Use the App
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law in your country sets a higher age for using services like this one, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account and for what happens on it, so keep your sign-in secure.
2. Your Content
You keep the rights to the posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, workouts, and programs you share ("your content"). You give us permission to store, copy, and show your content to the people you share it with, only as needed to run the App. You are responsible for your content and must have the right to share it.
3. Community Rules
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send, or share content that:
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone.
- Attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Contains nudity, pornography, or sexual content, or sexualizes minors in any way.
- Shows or encourages violence, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous activities.
- Promotes illegal activity, including the sale of illegal drugs or banned performance-enhancing substances.
- Is spam, a scam, or misleading, or impersonates someone else.
- Shares other people's private information, or photos or videos of them without their permission.
- Infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
You must also not misuse the App, for example by trying to access other users' accounts or data, interfering with the service, or collecting data from it with automated tools.
4. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement
You can report posts, comments, messages, and users from the App, and block users so you no longer see each other. We review reports within 24 hours. If content breaks these Terms, we remove it, and we may suspend or permanently disable the account of the user who posted it, without notice. We may also remove content or disable accounts on our own initiative, or when the law requires it. You can contact us about a decision at the email address below.
5. Health and Fitness
The App helps you log workouts and follow training programs. It does not give medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition or injury. You exercise at your own risk, and you are responsible for training safely, using proper form, and using equipment correctly. Stop and get help if you feel pain or unwell.
6. Ending Your Use
You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in the App's settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the App. The Privacy Policy describes what happens to your data when your account is deleted.
7. The App Is Provided "As Is"
We work to keep the App running and your data safe, but we provide the App "as is" and can't promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that data will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content other users post. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
8. App Stores
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, and have no obligation to provide support for it. If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You also agree to follow the terms of the app store you got the App from.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above, and if the changes are significant, we will let you know in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new Terms.
